Sure!

I went vegetarian about three months ago and I haven't had a period since. Other than that, I'm healthy and I haven't lost ridiculous amounts of weight. I'm sixteen years old, and my mom thinks that it may just be my hormones adjusting. Any thoughts?
My period was super shady when I first got it, popping in whenever it felt like it, so it's possible your mom is right.
If you have any worries though, I'd check with your gyno when you go in for your yearly exam [which you're of course doing :)]
I don't mean to sound at all rude but is your body healthy enough to have periods?
Not all rude! Amenhorrea happens to a lot of female athletes with very low body fat percentages, it's actually just your body's way of keeping you protected if you don't have enough body mass to support a baby--it actually CAN be okay and found in healthy young women if your doctor examines you and finds nothing else wrong.
That being said, I still have my period...every month, without fail. Which I suppose is both a curse and a blessing.
